Shawn Hudler, 25, from South Lake Tahoe was sentenced Monday to three years in Nevada State Prison for felony DUI.

Hudler was arrested on July 4, 2009 and convicted for his 3^rd DUI in three years. He was admitted to a diversion program and was arrested for two burglaries and petty theft while still in the program.

He was sentenced to two years in prison in California on the new offenses, and released after one year to be returned to Douglas County where he was held in custody.

Now he has been charged with his 4^th driving under the influence charge which is counted as a felony DUI.

The District Judge told Hudler he may be eligible for parole in 12 months. He gave him credit for 140 days in custody.
