Marco Antonio Valencia was found guilty Wednesday of second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving with .08 percent blood-alcohol causing injury, following the 2009 DUI crash that killed 43 year old Joseph Novotny. Valencia, who was on probation for two separate misdemeanor
DUI cases at the time, fled the scene. He was arrested about 90 min later by the California Highway patrol. He will be sentenced May 26th, and is facing up to life in prison.
